You have come across the website of the South Africa Partnership Committee within the regional Church of Schaumburg-Lippe. We invite you to discover the spirit of our partnership and find out more about what we do.

Since 1988 we are involved in an intensive partnership with parishes of Kgetleng circuit (ELCSA) in South Africa. From our point of view, this connection with Christians, brothers and sisters from a foreign country and different culture can be best defined as: 

20 years of partnership

This year, the partnership between Kgetleng circuit and the Regional Church of Schaumburg-Lippe celebrates its 20th anniversary. Therefore, our church welcomes a delegation of 12 members from different parishes throughout our partner circuit of Kgetleng. They will be our guests from 16^th September to 30^th September 2008. During this visit an anniversary service will be held in the parish of Pollhagen, celebrating our partnership. In addition a joint choir will perform in the parishes of Seggebruch and Sachsenhagen under the direction of Mathias Goedecke (“Kreuz und Quer”).
