In 1988 the partnership between Kgetleng circuit and the Regional Church of Schaumburg-Lippe (in the beginning only east circuit) was initiated through a South African delegation headed by pastor Mascher. Since then, visits from both partners take place every two years.
In the past, an increased amount of young people have participated in visits. Those which should be emphasised have taken place in 2002, 2004 and 2008. In these years a joint youth choir was formed, performing in front of public audience within different parishes.

Our partnership gains its vitality especially through these visits. This means that we must get to know each other and have to stay in a constant dialogue. We shall laugh with each other and celebrate our belief in shared prayers and songs, as well as joint services.

...experiencing an international Christian community, despite all differences in socialisation, nationality, colour and culture based on our joint belief in Jesus Christ.

...dedication towards other peoples concerns, by witnessing the Lord as the world’s salvation through the gospel, and by protecting Creation, as well as standing up for freedom and justice.

...accepting strangers, by encouraging the performance of solidarity with foreigners and minorities in our country, and by seeking the dialogue which encourages appreciation on both sides.
